We are a small but strong Anglican parish in the village of Lambeth, Ontario. The church is located on the southwest corner of Main Street and Colonel Talbot Road. Our congregation is involved in various outreach programs within our community - Daily Bread and a Prayer Shawl ministry are two of many. Another of our outreach programs includes the local Brownies and Jr. Optimists. They are able to use the Trinity Parish Hall at no cost. We are always ready to welcome new families into our congregation.
Rev. Elaine Clark-Siberry is our Rector and she officiates at the the following service: Sunday morning at 11:00 a.m. is Holy Eucharist.
Choir practice is held every Wednesday evening from 7:30-8:30 in the church. Our Music Director/Organist is Donald Jones. He is always ready to welcome new singers into the choir.
We have a knitting group, The Knitters of Hope, who are involved in a number of outreach programs in our community. Our main focus is Prayer Shawls. A shawl is given to someone who is in a personal or medical crisis. Shawls, which have been made for centuries, are universal and embracing. They wrap, enfold, comfort and give solace. Comments from those who have received a shawl said they have been uplifted, as if given wings to fly above their troubles. They often feel like they have been given a hug from God. The group is also involved with Children's Hospital, knitting for the babies and older children in the Pediatric Critical Care Unit.
Having adopted the Natural Church Development process, Trinity is especially focusing on its worship at present with the goal of making it more inspiring and engaging. We have introduced a weekly fellowship coffee time after the service and all are invited to stay.
Trinity continues to do many wonderful things in our Outreach ministry. Mission Services, Ark Aid, Knitters of Hope, Daily Bread, our sister Parish in Mthatha South Africa, and the Community Cemetery are just some of the many community and or international programs we help to support during the year.
Trinity Parish Hall, along with tables and chairs, is available for rent. At an additional cost, there is a full kitchen which includes use of dishes and linens. Inquiries can be directed to 652-5573.
We are now listed on the Village of Lambeth web site under "Churches". To view the Lambeth web site go to Lambeth.ca

Wendy German, her friend Rose Cammaert and Jane Moffat have been volunteering in Mthatha, South Africa for 2 months. They are based at Bethany House, an orphanage for children 0 - 7 years, 40% of whom are HIV positive. Wendy took a number of toques with her because the nights are very cold and she knew the children would welcome the toques. The toques were well received by the children!! Wendy and Rose had numerous fundraisers and before they left in early July they had raised over $23,000. that will be used to buy medicines/drugs for the orphanage. What a great job!!
